ALONSO-CUEVILLAS LAWYERS AND ECONOMISTS is a multidisciplinary office, founded in 1984 —under the name of BUFET ALONSO-CUEVILLAS— by the brothers José Félix and Jaume Alonso-Cuevillas. Composed of professionals specialized in the various areas of law, the firm provides legal and economic services to individuals as well as professionals, freelancers and companies.



José Félix Alonso-Cuevillas Sayrol has been a practicing lawyer in Barcelona since 1979, combining the liberal practice with the management of the Legal Department and / or the Secretariat of the Boards of directors of financial, banking, professional, health, industrial, technological and of communication companies. Professor of Procedural, Civil and Commercial Law at various academic institutions - University of Barcelona, School of Business Administration (EAE), School of Legal Practice of the Barcelona Bar Association, Advocacy Council Catalan and the Higher Institute of Law and Economics (ISDE) -. He has been a Member of the Observatory of Private Law of Catalonia (Department de Justícia of the Generalitat de Catalunya), chosen by the turn of jurists of recognized prestige. Member of the Associació Catalana d'Experts en Dret Successori.


Jaume Alonso-Cuevillas Sayrol, He holds a PhD in Law, is a lawyer, has a degree in Business Administration, is an economist and Full Professor of Procedural Law at the University of Barcelona. Director of the Master in Law and Bankruptcy Administration at the University of Barcelona. He was Dean of the Barcelona Bar Association and also has held various positions in the Legal representative Catalan, Spanish, European and international levels. This experience in the institutional field himit has a wide network of national and international contacts, which facilitates the management of matters with international implications.

Due to the regulatory complexity and the need to provide a high value-added service to its clients, Alonso-Cuevillas Advocats y Economistes has over the years created a professional team made up of highly qualified lawyers, specialized in the various areas of Right. Many of them combine their professional activity with teaching in universities and other prestigious legal training centers. However, as a result of this teaching work, the team of professionals has been enriched by the integration into the office of some of the brightest students who have passed through their classrooms.
